The Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cross-Border Financial Adviser to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is dually qualified in the US and UK, with a proven track record of providing exceptional financial advice to high-net-worth individuals and families. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in cross-border financial planning and a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by internationally mobile clients.

You listen more than you speak. You take the time to deeply understand each client’s feelings, personality, and ambitions before offering your expert advice. You deliver financial planning with purpose, ensuring every aspect of your clients’ finances aligns with their vision for the future while respecting their current circumstances and attitude to risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead adviser for a portfolio of clients with complex cross-border financial planning needs.
  • Develop and implement bespoke financial strategies that address the unique challenges of US/UK-connected clients, including tax planning, investment management, and estate planning.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with high-net-worth clients in business, sports, and entertainment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external specialists to ensure seamless delivery of cross-border solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with US and UK tax laws, regulatory changes, and industry trends to provide clients with the most accurate and relevant advice.
  • Contribute to the growth of the business by identifying opportunities to expand client relationships and attract new clients.
  • Maintaining CPD, to ensure skills, knowledge and ideas are based on the latest thinking and themes

Qualifications/Experience

  • Dual qualification in the US and UK with a minimum of two years of experience as a lead adviser.
  • A demonstrable book of clients, showcasing your ability to build and maintain high-value relationships.
  • Deep expertise in cross-border financial planning, with a strong understanding of US and UK tax regimes and regulations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with high-profile clients and navigate sensitive financial discussions.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional client outcomes.
  • Familiarity with the needs of internationally mobile individuals, including leaders in business and those in sports and entertainment.
